Bridge to Brisbane

Published August 26th 2009
The end of winter is fast approaching so what better way to soak up the change of season and see all Brisbane has to offer then with a fun-filled run/jog/walk around the beautiful city?

The Annual Bridge to Brisbane Fun Run held on the 30th of August is rapidly approaching with participants of all ages registering for their share of the fun, excitement and spectacular views this event is renowned for.

Whether you're a world class athlete or occasional walker the competition has both 5km and 10km divisions (from the Gateway Bridge to Exhibition grounds) as well as various volunteer opportunities to suit any individual.

There is also a best dressed competition with some great prizes. For those of us who are fitness-disadvantaged there are expo stalls, food vendors and live entertainment, making this the perfect spectator sport with all proceeds going towards the heart foundation.

So grab some friends, be an early bird for a day and jump on line for further event info to register or volunteer.
