Come and discover all that this vibrant and eclectic food precinct has to offer at on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th of May 2017.Over two exciting evenings, you will have the unique opportunity to join a series of curated progressive dinners, each hosted by an experienced culinary guide. Each progressive dinner will showcase the great and diverse foods served along Bridge Road - choose from 6 amazing experiences: The Richmond Classic - Taking in some of Bridge Road's most iconic venues.[i]This adventure starts at the Mt View Hotel for a classic cocktail, charcuterie and a view of the 'burb like no other. Breathe in the beauty of one of the city's oldest villages as you take to the street and head to Richmond Hill Café & Larder. Immerse yourself in a cheese and wine tasting experience before sidling up to the new kid on the block, Noda Grill. Savour the smoky goodness of their classic Korean BBQ, matched with some local wine before heading up (and down) the hill to Kritamos Hellenic Cuisine for a traditional Greek welcome. With a nod to old Hellas and a wink to modern Bridge Road, a Cretan feast awaits – and look out for Zorba! The Sporting Globe Richmond is the last stop for some cool and cleansing cocktails and bite-sized desserts in Bridge Road's most famous sports bar. For a change of pace, head back to Asia and Burmese House Restaurant for some authentic Myanmar favourites. Experience the tried and tested family recipes handed down from generation to generation as host Mimi serves up her family's favourites and a matched wine – packed with flavour and inspired by love. Continuing your Asian odyssey, the journey will take you to Deko Beko Café where host Toshi will bring his calm, Japanese sensibility to a traditional tea pouring ceremony and sweets. Thirsty Birds - Kick back, enjoy the scenes and the stories and feather your culinary nest with fab food, drinks and some insider knowledge!Spread your wings as you take flight at Chicken N Beer for – you guessed it – chicken and beer! No mystery there but be prepared to be awestruck as you don your sombrero and Jarabe TapatÍo (google it!) your way to Paloma Cantina to savour the subtleties of tequila and the tastiness of tacos. Hit the street again and head to Boheme Restaurant and Bar for a feast of house specialities, matched with local wines. HeartbEATS - Meet some of Bridge Road's most passionate owners, doing what they love every day and sharing their stories, tribulations and inspirations.This adventure kick starts at Uitgang for craft brews and charcuterie and fascinating tales of how passion for the amber liquid has turned two former corporate giants into brewers and bartenders.
