Primary school-aged children are invited to join Cheryl and her team to build moveable models using LEGO® bricks. Children are given their own brick kit and follow instruction manuals to craft themed structures. This creative, fun and of course educational program runs in a series of weekly classes held at Patterson Lakes Community Centre. Classes take place every Wednesday after school.
Speaking from experience with my own children taking part in Bricks 4 Kidz programs, I can confirm their enjoyment! I am also constantly in awe of their builds when collecting both children after each class.
Bricks 4 Kidz programs are varied, offering a new build every class. There is also ample opportunity for children to tap into their creativity by adapting and modifying builds too.
At the start of each class and before the kit builds commence, children are invited to build and play with a big bag of miscellaneous LEGO bricks and socialise with their fellow peers before getting into the nitty gitty! All children are partnered with other kids in the group so it won't matter if your child is booked onto the program alone.
