You Scream, I Scream, We All Scream for LEGO
If you love Lego and have enjoyed Kidz Giant Day Out (Brick-a-Laide) in the past, then come along to Brick Barossa for even more great brick fun.

Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July 2018 will host the Barossa's own interactive Lego fan event at St Jakobi Lutheran School, located at 208 Lyndoch Valley Road, Lyndoch.

There will be intricate displays and unique creations courtesy of great exhibitors such as Southern Bricks LEGO Group, however, there is also plenty of hands-on fun to be had.

There is a main exhibition and a junior exhibition area along with themed areas such as Lego Arcade, Technic and Mindstorms. Why not have a go at the remote control Lego vehicles, Mindstorms robots, Lego soccer or make your own Lego car and race track. There will even be a Lego Arcade with coin-operated machines made entirely from Lego.

Kids aged 5 to 12 years can enter the Brick Barossa competition for a chance to win prizes. Kids in two age categories (5 to 8 and 9 to 12) can enter a creation made entirely on their own (not from the internet or using LEGO instructions) or with no more than 25% of content using instructions. Once complete, take some photos and enter these online. If the entry reaches the finals, you will be asked to bring your creation to the event on Friday 6 July 2018 for judging.

Lunch, coffee and donuts will be available for sale at the Brick Cafe and there will be many hands-on play areas and a free jumping castle. Lego will of course also be available for sale.

Brick Barossa is proud to offer Sensory Friendly Sessions for families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders. The 9 am session on Sunday 8 July 2018 will feature low volume music and announcements and reduced visitor numbers with numbers and noise slowly increasing post entry.

Tickets are available online and it is recommended that tickets be pre-purchased to avoid disappointment on the day. Tickets are sold in staggered (every half hour from 9 am) entry times to ensure everyone's safety and give a chance to see all the displays. Last session on Saturday is 4 pm and Sunday 3.30 pm.

Single tickets online are $12, children (3-17 years and concession $10 and families (2 adults, 3 children) $44. Children under 3 are free. Once you have entered at your appointed time, you are free to stay as long as you like.

Gate prices are single $15, children $12 and families $59. Gate tickets will only be available for sessions which have not sold out online.

Brick Barossa T-shirts are also available for sale online for $25 Kids/Youth and $30 Adults. Event Bricks are $5.
