Event:
Dance with Zorba
I have written before about the delightful Greek property on Bribie Island and now I am pleased to tell everyone about the upcoming Paniyiri Festival right on that site.

It is a Retreat and Recreation Centre with the Panagia Theotokou Greek Orthodox church near the entrance, which is on Third Avenue, Woorim.

Each year on the first Sunday in July it is the venue for the Bribie Paniyiri (Greek Festival), so put the date in your diary and go to celebrate all things Greek on July 3rd from 9 am to 4 pm.

Remember Zorba the Greek and how we all loved the Greek music and dancing? There will be plenty of that at the Festival with much dancing, music from different regions of Greece. I have been told that you will hear Zorba!

It will be a great opportunity to see demonstrations of Greek cooking, and you will be able to taste mouth- watering freshly cooked Greek foods.

It promises to be a great day for all the family, with activities for children in the Fun Zone, sand sculpting, childrens rides and other attractions.

There will be wine tastings from Maleny Winery, and Greek Coffee and traditional sweet from the Kafenea

Souvlakia? Loukoumades? Yes, Yes.

Greek Dancing Groups? Yes, Yes.

Live Bands and Greek Music? Yes, Yes.
