If you have driven along the Bribie Island Road, you may have noticed the or its sign about Horse Riding Lessons. It's not easy to see all the activity at the Club from the road, though you might get to see some of the horses.

When I visited recently I met some of the wonderful people who not only showed me around and introduced me to some of the horses but also put some of the horses through their paces for me to see.

The Saddle Club offers riding lessons – you can bring your own horse or use one of theirs, and it doesn't matter if you are a newbie or experienced rider as they offer lessons for all ages and abilities. Even the very young are catered for, as children aged between 2 and 3 can have pony rides.

Are you looking for an idea for a child's birthday party? Why not consider a Pony Party for the birthday girl/boy and their friends. It will be two hours of great fun for all. For details check the website here .

The club is a not-for-profit community organisation. All of the instructors are qualified or training towards horse riding instructor and equestrian coaching qualifications.

School holidays are busy at the club as they have some activities including Day Camps. You'll need to check their Facebook page or website for more information.
