Beers, Brews and Brissie
Now I have to confess I am not a connoisseur of beer. I know my pale ale from my Guinness if that tells you anything. But I do know a good thing about beer when I see it and that is the forthcoming Brewsvegas 2016. It is on at many locations around the city from the 11th of March to the 20th.

It is now in its third year and it springs from all those beer fans out there who are always keen to try something new and believe me there is a lot that is new in the latest festival.

It gives breweries the chance to showcase their new products, to tantalize taste buds with new and innovative brews and to surprise us with combinations we never ever thought possible.

So the programme is massive and you can check it all out]online.

The launch party is Friday the 11th of March at Wandering Cooks, corner of Cordelia St and Fish Lane, West End, with lots of local Brews and Food trucks to wow you from 5 pm.

There is a rich programme of activities which go on to Sunday the 20th, culminating in the 4th Annual Chilli cook off at the Kettle and Tin, 215 Given Terrace, in Paddington 07 3369 3778. from 10 am onwards and the cost is $10 at the door.

I am going to tickle your taste buds with a few of the free events but there are also some very enticing ones which are ticketed and which you should certainly have a look at.
