If you're looking for a tea event of in-depth experience and integrity, where nothing but the spirit of the tea flows throughout, BrewIN Melbourne: A Slow Tea Event is for you. Kick back, relax, and make it all about you and the tea on Sunday 4 August 2019 from 10am to 5pm at Schoolhouse Studios, 81 Rupert St, Collngwood. Get your tickets to hosted tea experiences every hour between the aforementioned timeframes. The event is solely based on Camellia Sinensis in its exceptionally varied forms. No flavoured teas, no tisanes, no chai, and no teabags, just pure leaf teas!

The hosts of the tea experience will be brewing tea at tables with up to 6 guests for 45 minute sessions. In a gentle and relaxed setting, is the perfect way to experience the teas. With a mini-market running, you'll get the opportunity to buy and enjoy take-home tea before or after your tea session or workshop. Yes, there will be workshops running as well as follows.

  • Entry to the venue is free to visit the mini-market where you'll find Tea centric ceramics by Minna Graham and Sophie Harle , handmade wagashi Japanese tea sweets by Minnie Sweets and a free tea ceremony experience corner with hands-on learn how to hold it proper tea brewing space. Minnie will be able to pair you up with the perfect sweets to go with your tea. Her wagashi is beautiful and elegant to the eye and the palate, and if you're a fan and can't wait to get some before this event, you'll find her at the Melbourne Tea Festival on Sun 21 July 2019 from 9am to 3pm at the Meat Market .
