Calling all coffee lovers
Are you on the lookout for good coffee and a place to catch a bite to eat? If you are on the Northside of Brisbane, maybe heading to the Sunshine Coast, there is a fabulous little cafe, named The Brew Testament at North Lakes that hits the mark.

First up - they do good coffee. They offer a variety of coffee from traditionally made cappuccinos, lattes to chai latte and tea to cold press coffee.

Also, they have a season-changing menu that offers all-day dining. It is short but varied, which would suit anyone's taste. You can choose from the breakfast classics with a twist, like Eggs Benedict with Pork Belly to something sweet such as a muffin or cake. Or if you were looking for something more, they do have some lunchtime items such as a Beef Burger or Bacon Gnocchi.

Great menu to choose from

We ordered from their all-day Spring menu. I couldn't go past the Avocado on Rye ($15) - Fresh avocado, spiced almond dukkha, curry labneh, kraut, sea salt and sumac with a side of poached eggs ($4).

My friend chose the Basic ($14) which was streaky bacon, 2 poached eggs, tomato jam and toasted rye. She said that her poached eggs were perfect and the best that she had had for a long time.

I enjoyed my breakfast with a great double shot cappuccino with soy milk ($4 for small). The place is not big but it was buzzing with the Saturday morning crowd and the service was friendly and we didn't have to wait too long for our meals.

But first...coffee

Ordering is up at the service counter and they accommodate a lot of walk-in coffee lovers. Open 7 days a week from 6am during the week and 7.30am on the weekend. They are only open for breakfast and lunch, closing at 3pm during the week. Parking is right out front and easy to access from Anzac Avenue. Definitely a place for coffee lovers.
