We visited Brew Masters for mid-week lunch and we were surprised to find it was busy for a Wednesday. It's a testament to their great valued humongous burgers.

I ordered a classic beef burger, which contained lettuce, tomato, caramelised onions, jack cheese and tomato relish. The burger came with either beer battered chips or sweet potato chips for $18.90.

My dining partner ordered the double beef and bacon burger, which was similar to mine but with the additions listed and mayonnaise and home-made smoky bourbon BBQ sauce. His burger cost $22.90.

The burgers arrived on skinny wooden trays and as I bit into mine, the sauce dripped everywhere. My only complaint is they need to supply you with paper napkins on the roll to mop up the juices. I couldn't finish my burger because it was so big, but hubby thoroughly enjoyed his. We then debated which restaurant in Brisbane made the best burger and this one made it into our top three.

The restaurant is licensed so you can order boutique wine or craft beers to have with your meal. They serve organic coffee. They specialise in burgers, but there are vegetarian options, chicken parmigiana and optional gluten free buns. Next time we visit we'd like to try the pulled pork, pulled brisket or the grilled barramundi.

has a ridiculous food challenge where if you can try to eat a tower of six layers of meat patties, cheese burger with large chips and your choice of flavoured milkshake in under 20 minutes. You can attempt this for $50 and if you succeed you'll receive a $50 return voucher.

is open from 7am for breakfast until last seven days a week (except public holidays).
