Top of the World with Breadtop World Square
Breadtop World Square specialises in bread and cakes. They do savoury and sweet options. You take a tray and slide open the glass display cases and use tongs to put your choice onto the tray. The good thing is you can choose the exact item that you want - some people are to self-conscious to be fussy in front of bakery staff but really do want a certain cheesy stick – there always seems to be that one that is extra cheesy.
They also have sweet things for sale which could be the perfect lunch time treat. They sell cakes by the slice and have on offer the ever popular Rainbow Cake, Tart Gateau, Japanese Cheesecake, Blackforest, Green Tea Mousse, Chocolate Mousse, and Strawberry Cheesecake for only $4.50. They sell mini cakes too; they offer the Hazelnut Chocolate Mud cake alongside the Triple Chocolate Mousse for only $5. They have chocolate Éclairs for $2.90 and Custard Puffs for $2.10. The cakes are not overpoweringly sweet which is good for those who enjoy subtle flavours.
They do a great Puppy Cake $26, which is perfect for a birthday party. It comes with a little bow and bone. It is a Rollard cake in the inside with layers of sponge and cream rolled up into a scroll. It looks fantastic and will be sure to please the person you are buying it for. They also have their signature Green Tea Gateau, Chestnut Gateau, Strawberry Cheesecake, Tiramisu and Triple Chocolate Mousse for $21. These 5-inch cakes are perfect for a birthday celebration, going away party or graduation celebration.
When you buy a large cake like this, the staff are friendly and efficient and they conveniently have a packet of birthday candles available for you as well as paper serving plates and cake cutters free of charge. The cake packaging comes with built-in handles, which is really handy if you are getting the bus or train or even walking to the birthday venue.
