If your kids love the smell of freshly baked bread from the oven, why not get them to make some themselves instead of buying from the bakery. The 'Bread Making Family Workshop' at Centennial Park in Sydney will provide the know-how and simple recipe for children age 5 years and up to become mini-bakers. The class is led by award-winning chef and food scientist Galit Segev who believes everyone, young or old, can make bread.

Over 90 minutes, your child will learn how to make the perfect bread. Galit will share notes on basic techniques and simple fresh ingredients that can be used at home. Your child will also leave the workshop with his or her own handmade loaves that are ready for the oven. There is also a range of bread developed by Galit to sample and buy at the workshop.

All materials are provided so you'll just have to bring an apron and a mixing bowl. The class is limited to only 25 kids so grab your ticket here before they are all gone. You should look forward to enjoying the aroma of freshly baked bread wafting through the house after putting the kids in the class.
