A Brazilian Dance Festive Feast
Performing on Today Show
Now you may be thinking this is some sort of ill fitting bra condition, but I am hear to tell you that Brazouka is in fact an awesome new dance show coming to Jupiters Casino. It is described as a "mystical dance story from the streets of Brazil" - performed by a stunning new dance troupe, created by Pamela Stephenson-Connolly and Arlene Phillips.

The show centres around (and stars) Braz Dos Santos - noted as the best freestyle Lambazouk dancer in the world - and his personal struggles to bring his style of dance to an international stage. As he describes his journey, it was a case of "dance or die". To be the best in the world, that is the kind of passion you need, and from what I have seen, this show is oozing with passion and seductive dancing. But it's not all colourful and energetic, there is light and shade with heartwarming flashback scenes to Braz in his younger years, highlighting some of the struggles he has faced, to get where he is today.
The Lambazouk style is a modern twist on the lambada - which let's admit it, we have all drunkenly danced to in the 80's - set to the exotic beats of zouk music from the Caribbean. The show has travelled around Australia and the reviews have been amazing, and from the many television features, it sure looks like a wild ride that is just real infectious fun - and who doesn't want that in their lives.
I love dance shows and I have see a couple at Jupiter's Casino - it is a fab venue, big enough for a great atmosphere, but still small and intimate enough that you feel close to the action. Plus there are many bars, restaurants and of course the casino, so that you can carry on the fun, and dance the night away after the show has finished. I have a feeling you will be in the party mood.
The amazing 12 performers showcase a number of dance styles, the sensual style of Lambazouk, bouncy Forro, incredible acrobatic martial arts/dance - Capoeira, Afro-contemporary, Rio Zouk and the sexy Samba. If that's not enough to put a spring in your step this Christmas, I don't know what is.
Now nothing really says a flamboyant party like Brazilian dancers and costume - and this has all that and more. It has a variety of fabulous routines, with both group, individual and partner dances plus bright costumes, props and sets which showcase all the vibrant colours and passion of Brazil and the Caribbean.
There are show only prices starting from $49 through to group, family, meet & greet and concession packages. Plus as Jupiters Casino is like huge resort inside, there are also some hotel and show packages plus dinner and show packages where you can eat at one of the many restaurants before the show.
