On a blue, cloudless Saturday morning there is nowhere I would rather be.
Having sunk into the newfound depth of my chair I, like many others, exhaled the tension from the busy workweek and inhaled the crisp, fresh air by the Brisbane River. With it came the crystallised realisation of the weekend's potential.
A tasteful buffet is often understated in the possibilities it presents. There are no unnecessary culinary restrictions of mixing hot and cold food, or having dinner followed by dessert. Personally, I appreciate the liberty to follow up a slice of mud cake with a plate of bacon and eggs! There shouldn't be limitations; we shouldn't be bound to societal norms when it comes to food and the possibilities it presents.
The ability to view your breakfast options before choosing, is something that only a buffet truly offers. From the breakfast classics to beverages, cakes, and little savoury treats, why wait to order when everything is fresh and in front of you!
I am convinced that the atmosphere of being alongside a body of water simply makes any meal taste better. The Stamford Plaza's wondrous location overlooking the Brisbane River made my breakfast at the Brasserie that much better and is both a spot I would recommend and return to.
The Stamford offers agency with your meal at the Brasserie. A seemingly simple breakfast suddenly transforms into anything you can imagine, whatever it may be. This is the buffet breakfast spot for those foodies looking for something the same, yet better.
