For a great night of rocking live music, head to
Brass Monkey where the ambiance in this intimate venue is exhilarating.

Brass Monkey - small intimate venue, hosts a kaleidoscope of amazing musicians.
The
Brass Monkey hosts some pretty big names from the Australian and International music scene in this small capacity venue holding around 100 people. Walking down the stair case into an eclectic room, reminds me of an old jazz bar in the south. You can
'feel' the ghosts of past music echoing throughout its walls.

A great read - posters of current artists cover the walls as you walk down the stairs.

Occasional evenings give tribute to music greats of Bob Dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, Eagles or Doobie Brothers, performed by an array of accomplished musicians true to their craft.

Missy Higgins gave her first solo right here.
Be adventurous and rock up to support local and new talent, it will surely inflate your next dinner party conversations when you reveal 'Hey, I saw Missy Higgins' first solo gig!'

Support local talent. It is incredible what guys can do with a piece of wood and 6 strings. Their original music was fantastic and thoroughly entertaining. 'Go ahead, make my day' Richard, Tom & Dan.
You won't be ushered in and told where to sit like large venues; create the evening you want to experience.
Join up with friends at a table and order scrumptious food from
Mumma's Kitchen curl up at the bar sipping your
favourite cocktail or stand near the back and let the music move your body.

Lebanese inspired food will fill your night; haloumi, lamb kebabs, mezza plate to snack on or seafood pasta.

Try a mixed plate to share with friends.
At the end of the night, everyone 'hangs out' and talks music in a relaxed 'family' atmosphere. Even if your repertoire is confined to chopsticks with two fingers, join in. It is all about the 'love' of music. A great opportunity to make new friends also!
I had one burning question I just had to ask the owner and several artists.
Why do such highly acclaimed musicians like to perform here?
Basically, this is what they all said.
