Do you love styling hair but would like to improve your technique or learn how to create some braided Dos that will have everyone go, Wow!? Here is the perfect workshop for you. Grab a friend and contact WeTeachMe at Put Your Heart Into It to register for their Braid It Up Workshop.
WeTeachMe is a community based course provider which runs workshops and classes in crafts including Make-up application, Wild Floristry, Fermenting and Gut Health, weaving, watercolour & calligraphy, just to name a few.
During the Braid It Up workshop with Chelsea Demain you will learn how to complete a simple outside plait first then a fully-fledged braid. Once the basic technique has been mastered you'll move onto directional braiding, then finishing with a dishevelled, braided crown. Learn not only how to braid other people's hair, but how to braid your own. Chelsea has 14 years industry experience, owned her own salon and been Head Stylist for many London and Melbourne Fashion Week shows. She has also worked as an educator at the Biba Academy and been a session stylist to the stars. More recently she has founded Eye Am Hair, a mobile hairdressing service that operates within a bespoke copper clad caravan touring music festival and catering for weddings and other special events.
The workshop will also feature a 'grazing table' of local organic food and wine for you to feast on while you learn.
