Impromptu adventuring, exploring our backyard and then putting pen to paper, hoping to entice you to try one, if not all, of our escapades, is my true reward!
Sunshine Coast Council are doing a superb job in revamping the whole area along Bradman Avenue on the Maroochy River and indeed are still busy, with work in progress, but what they have already achieved has really enhanced the whole area along the Maroochy River Foreshore, making it a very popular destination for runners, walkers, stand-up Paddlers, cyclists, boaties or even for that weekend family picnic.

Boating and Stand-Up Paddling
Stunning new picnic areas and benches all along the water's edge, creating magnificent viewing spots to sit back, relax and enjoy all the goings-on on the waterfront. A small but adequate play area for children including a dog-off leash section will ensure that our furry friends can enjoy the outdoor lifestyle too.

Stylish, new picnic areas
A beach access ramp is available for those wanting to launch their boats to join the ever-changing landscape on the Maroochy River or to come ashore to enjoy the trendy little eateries available. Beautiful art sculptures in the one section are on display for everyone's enjoyment.

Oops, we have a photobomb!
Definitely worth a visit - I suspect this is one of the locals' best-kept secrets - who wants to share a hidden treasure that is easy to access and not over-populated?
