Picasso catch your interest? Were you ignited by van Gogh? You don't have to go to the city to take a wander through great art. Amidst the scents of spring on the cusp of summer, The Box Hill Art group is set to flood the lower Box Hill town hall with artistic inspiration.

What? where?Save the 30th September to the 2nd of October for Art. $5 dollar entry will show you the world through several talented Melbourne artists' eyes. Such a small price to pay for a lovely day out.

Getting ThereThe Exhibition officially opens Friday 30 September at 8pm. It is located at the lower Box Hill Town Hall 1022 whitehorse rd Box Hill. An accessible and convenient space whether you travel in by train or car. The attractive Art Deco Style space is the perfect venue to show the art in its best light.

This Accessible space is on Whitehorse Rd. Wheelchairs are accommodated from all entrances parking, however, is tight. The site advises checking out the nearby library or multi-story carparks in the area. A short walk from both tram and train, why not make a day of it and have a picnic in the vibrant green parks that give the area breath. See the website for more information.

What to expectThe work is a diverse array of Paintings in different mediums which express a multitude of impressions of Australian life.

There is a gallery from a recent exhibition and some examples of some of the Artist's work. Their mood is reflective and gentle. Colour exploration delights and surprises it is touring through a world of other people's gazes and there is much to love. If you do wish to purchase during the exhibition it will be hard to choose.

People have been exploring their creativity since the Group was formed in 1952. Much brilliant talent has been showcased since then, you could become a part of it.
