Bringing together over 200 interstate and local independent creatives, the gathering will feature everything from fashion and textiles through to homewares and furniture items. Amongst the stallholders will be 60 newcomers, bringing with them a heap of fresh innovations to explore amongst the usual favourites.
Running over three days, there's plenty of opportunity to get amongst the creative buzz and buy quality, authentic products direct from the designers and makers. Being held the weekend before Mother's Day, what better time also to shop for that special little gift for Mum, all under the one roof. Gift wrapping is covered at the venue, all for a gold coin charity donation.

Next to perusing the stalls, you can channel your own inner-creative by attending a selection of workshops and demonstrations on offer throughout the weekend. Amongst the offerings, ELC Studio's Emma Cuppleditch will be running a resin jewellery making workshop, hand-build your very own clay tea set with Xanthe Murphy or get an introduction to anatomical drawing over a glass of wine with Andrew Clarke from the Adelaide Central School of Art.
The kids can get amongst the action too in Kiddo Corner. A collaboration between Bowerbird Market and Kiddo Mag, this will be a calm and inspiring space where parents and kids can chill-out in a book nook or partake in games and free craft activities and paid workshops.
For those after a Friday night tipple to kick off their weekend, Prohibition Liquor Co will be running hands-on gin cocktail and blending masterclasses, with the promise of enjoying your beverage at the end of each make.
Entry to the market in the Wayville Pavilion will be $5 per person and children under 12 can get in for free. Free parking can be found in the surrounding streets, with paid parking available at the Adelaide Showground carpark via Rose Terrace.
So, whether it's ticking Mother's Day gifts off the list, getting inspired or just enjoying a meander amongst the creative vibe, this market is a must for the month of May calendar.
