Fond memories of Bowden. I was born when my family lived in Seventh Street, Bowden, in a tiny house. I was the fifth of my parents' six children. The Bowden Kindergarten was across the road from our house. I am pretty sure that the Kindergarten ran between Sixth and Seventh Streets. There was a pughole on Drayton Street (at the end of Seventh Street) where a few us kids used to slide down into the pughole on old sheets of rusty corrugated iron. :) I used to cross the Port Road to my school, Hindmarsh Primary.
