Boutique Markets at Portside

Do you long to escape from the mass-produced fashions and accessories abounding in the high street shops? If the answer is yes, then it is time you visited the Boutique Markets, where even your pets will come away with a new look!

Every second Sunday of the month sees the carpark of Portside Wharf fill with market stalls selling the wares of talented, local designers and artists. All of the things you would normally have to visit several boutiques to find are all available to you in the one open space.

You will find an extensive range of beautiful handmade stationary, jewellery, accessories, and even a clothing line for your dogs! There is also art, photography, flowers and fudge on sale. In other words, there is something for everyone.

The markets have an extremely relaxed atmosphere: you won't be given the hard sell here. And, to be honest, you won't need the hard sell, because there will almost certainly be something from every stall that you will want to buy!

Being situated in Portside means that when you become shopping-weary, you are surrounded by restaurants and cafes in which to rest and recharge. And, with a Dendy Cinema on-site, you can send any non-shoppers to a movie, giving you some much-needed alone time with the merchandise.

The only down side to these markets is that they aren't on every Sunday!
