A great night & weekend market with live music & good food

Something for everyone at Boundary Street Markets!

Too old to go nightclubbing, too young to sit at home, bored with all of the restaurants in your area and there are no good movies on? Or perhaps you're just in the mood to do something different this week...

Whatever your personality, everybody loves a good market, and night markets are even better!

The Boundary Street markets are open Friday nights, and throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.

The Market Lane Night Markets are a vibrant mix of wine, culture, market stalls and people!

Fully equipped with live entertainment, great eats, pop up shops, market stalls and a licensed bar, these markets are a great alternative to the Southbank markets and the Eat Street Markets (both of which can be quite hard to find parks at).

Located in eclectic West End, the home of quirky restaurants and cafes, the Boundary Street Markets are ideally located for a great day or evening out.

The markets' multicultural food scene has flavours from Turkey, Japan, France, Spain, Brazil and Venezuela, to name a few!

West End is known for its eclectic mood

Pop up shops and stalls abound with clothes, hand made goods and homewares. And it wouldn't be a West End market without a range of healthy foods, fruit and veges, and other locally grown and made foods. As with every market, Boundary Street Markets also has the to be expected naturopathic and holistic stalls, candles and soaps.

Live artists are on show working as you watch, and somewhat unique to West End are the Barbers who have set up shop in the markets.

Live music and an open bar ensure the markets cater for the young and young at heart!

The stallholders, fantastic food outlets and musicians in the markets work alongside their partner music and event venues Motor Room and Factory One and a host of ever-changing and permanent attractions - including a restored 1950s train-carriage, BAM charity café, container barber shop, beauty salon, and radio broadcasting.

Located in and around the old Peter Ice Cream Factory, much of these markets are undercover, making them a good choice ahead of other markets on hot or rainy days.

With a bus stop directly outside it, close to the train and ferry, and with the delights of Southbank close by, these markets are a good way to spend your evening or weekend!

Open Friday night 4pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 3pm.
