Event:
Dance to the Summer vibe when Brazil hits Brisbane

2016 is the 20th anniversary of West End's Carnaval Party and Parade, and this year it coincides with the big party in Rio De Janiero. On Saturday 6 February West End is the place to be.

The afternoon starts at 4pm at The Motor Room, inside the Boundary Street Markets with music and Brazilian fun. The Boundary Street Markets will be open for their usual Saturday market night, making this event a must do for those looking for a different night out.

From 6.30pm Boundary Street (between Vulture and Melbourne Streets) comes alive with the Carnaval Parade. More than 150 performers and musicians in costume take to Boundary Street to fill West End with noise and dance - Brazil comes to Brisbane!

Onlookers can enjoy the dance of the Samba as hip-swaying Brazilian music fills the air. But don't think you are limited to being an onlooker, those who want to participate can do so by registering here. Tickets prices are subject to the time you buy, the earlier you buy the cheaper the tickets are.

For those who just want to enjoy the noise, colour and festivities, it's free to be an onlooker - watch the parade, enjoy the food and music and take part in a night of eclectic colour.
