Somewhere nice to meet before or after a movie
The boulevard lounge at Mitcham Wallis Cinemas is a licensed restaurant/cocktail lounge. You can stop by for drinks, dinner or cake and coffee.

The decor is 1920's themed. The ambience is lovely with dimmed lighting and Jazz music playing quietly in the background. The theme continues through to the menu cover and the meals are served on Noritake tableware.

There is a variety of seating from high tables with barstools, regular height tables and chairs to sofas and armchairs with lots of comfy cushions.

The share platters available for dinner are excellent value. I've dined at the Boulevard lounge on numerous occasions. We have shared the beef fillet platter and the Asian platter. The platters have more than enough food for two people. The staff are always polite and friendly.

On Sunday afternoons they serve Devonshire tea. I've occasionally met a friend for a relaxing Sunday afternoon catchup and sat on the comfortable sofas.

Each serve of Devonshire tea consists of two scones served with jam and cream on the side and includes coffee or tea.

The cost is $10.00 per person.

Vouchers can be purchased as a gift. The voucher includes 2 movie tickets, dinner and drinks for two people. Cost of the voucher is $80 and can be purchased from the candy bar or at the movie ticket sales desk.

The Boulevard lounge is open Tuesday to Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons

Looks fab. A pity it is never open when I am there. The afternoons work better. But will put Sunday arvo on my wish list.
