Event:
Suburban backstreet bicycle adventure
Take a leisurely ride through the leafy suburbs on Sunday, 20th August and join a few hundred others for a perfect opportunity with friends and family to discover hidden gems in the backstreets and alleyways of Adelaide.

The Boucle De Burbs, brought to you by Treadly Bike Shop, is not designed to be a race, nor a grueling journey, but instead an outing with ample time for taking in the scenery and enjoying some perfect spots along the route for a refreshing and refueling snack, lunch, brew or beverage.

The course, which is approximately 40 kilometres in total, has been mapped out to not only track as many suburban lanes as possible, but also to pass some of Adelaide's best cafes that you may not have discovered in the burbs.

Come rain or shine the fifth annual Boucle De Burbs will set off from Bonython Park Pond from 11am, but you can arrive at anytime, prepared with raincoats if needs be, go at your own pace, ride as far as you want and join the fun.

You'll have a chance to express your creative dress sense. The more colourful you are, the better your chances of being selected for one of the many prizes to be awarded.

Coffee, pastries and burgers will also be available to boost your energy levels.

You can cool your, umm heels (well you know what's going to ache more) at the official Boucle De Burbs After Party located at Little Bang Brewing, Union Street, Stepney from 6pm.

Tickets, available from Eventbrite, are $30 for adults, $15 for children and selling fast, so don't miss out on a great family friendly event.
