I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

Also known as The Thunderbolt Inn, The Bottom Pub was established in 1909 as The Imperial Hotel. The building dates from the Victorian era and contains original features such as beautiful lead light glass. There are a few areas you can dine in, there is a cosy room with a fireplace and a garden room terrace. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pub has a great country atmosphere.
