Drive down to York for a fun day and great shopping
York is not too far away from Perth to make it a day trip and York often has some very good events. This one is the Botanicalia Artisan Market York.

The Botanicalia Artisan Market is a free outdoor market offering a mixture of quality art and craft, produce and provisions. Here you can find something unique, beautifully made or grown and prepared with love and care here in Western Australia.

This occasional market is beautifully situated in the gardens of Botanicalia. This is a cafe and gallery which is situated between the river and the main street of York.

This is nestled on the banks of the Avon River in the gently rolling slopes of the farms of the beautiful Avon Valley. York offers unique insights into Western Australia's colourful past both before and following European settlement in 1831.

York was actually the first inland settlement in Western Australia. The town has many historic and heritage listed Victorian and Federation buildings.

There are also a whole lot of dining options, accommodation and wonderful site seeing opportunities as well as a market offering heaps of goods many of which you would not find in Perth. York is a fantastic day trip or weekend mini break from Perth and especially on this weekend!

It will be held on Sunday 5th May 2019 at 152 Avon Terrace, York from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

When children shop at markets, everything is at the right height and its way more fun than a normal shop! The Botanicalia Artisan Market is proudly child-friendly as well as dad-friendly and just perfect for that special gift in time for Mother's Day the following weekend.

Annie and Sam are just one of the stallholders that will be there on this day. Annie & Sam was created by Katia Moraes due to her passion for making beautiful pieces of clothes for her grandchildren.

Her exclusive pieces are still made by hand with only high-quality products being used. The clothes are for children from one month to four years of age.
