Explore soft natural tones as you paint with watercolour to create your own individual artwork. Alana Read will guide you with a variety of watercolour techniques, including beginner brush-work colour mixing and paint application. This workshop will focus on typography and how you can create beautiful letters or icons that will stand out amongst a plethora of nature designs.

This relaxed Botanical Watercolour Lettering Workshop, which will be held at Rockhampton Museum of Art (RMOA), 220 Quay Street, on Saturday, 13 April 2024, starting from 09.15 am until 12.15 pm, will introduce you to the art of watercolour painting and design. Using simple shapes and techniques, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience. By exploring inspiring creative ideas you will produce a stunning finished piece.
