I recently attended an essential oils workshop with the lovely Caity from Living the Abundant Way where I learned all about the incredible benefits of essential oils.

The roller party was very relaxed and welcoming, wonderful to share with a group of friends or go alone. There was a delicious grazing board, rose tea, spritzers, bliss balls and beautifully hand crafted chocolate as well.



It was very educational as we learned the different benefits that essential oils have for our health and well being.I really enjoyed making my own blends of essential oils and adding dried delicate flowers to the bottle. There is something very therapeutic about creating your own fragrance especially when it has such great health benefits.

I was especially intrigued by the thieves oil blend, which is said to be a life saver during the flu season. There is a legend that says that one group of thieves who robbed bodies during the bubonic plague in the 15th century did not get sick and die because they were covered in this incredible oil.



The location is stunning, a beautiful light filled space in the heart of Maroubra beach. Everyone enjoyed creating and designing their own essential oil blends while learning about the positive benefits for our health and homes. Caitlin also shared the many ways that essential oils can be used for cleaning products, as so many cleaning products in our homes are toxic. It was fascinating to learn how many uses essential oils have for our bodies and our homes.
