Head to the beautiful Rippon Lea House and Garden for the Botanica - A Garden & Sustainability Festival on Sunday 20 October 2019 between 10AM - 3PM.



With a variety of workshops, market stalls, exclusive talks, plant and book sales, this free event will provide you with loads of ideas and garden inspiration to recreate your own little piece of paradise at home.

Clive Blazey will be on hand to give a special talk on heirloom seeds and the Ikebana International Society will present a stunning exhibition of flower arrangements. Ikebana is a way of arranging flowers that was developed by the Japanese. There will also be an immersive soundscape tour through the beautiful fernery.



Pack a picnic and take a walk along the garden paths set amongst the 14 acres of beautiful gardens that lead to the majestic Rippon Lea Mansion. Pick a spot, maybe beside the gorgeous lake, spread out your favourite picnic rug and goodies and enjoy the day. There will also be a selection of organic wines and beers to wash it all down.

The Gatehouse Tea Room will be open with a range of food, hot and cold drinks. The Gatehouse Gift Shop will also be open stocking a lovely selection of gifts and homewares.

Rippon Lea House and Gardens are located in Elsternwick, approximately 7kms from Melbourne's CBD.
