George Bernard Shaw once said, "There is no sincerer love than the love of food."

When I dined at Adelaide's last week I fell in love with their $6 pizzas.

Adelaide's is a clash between a 1920's upmarket cocktail bar and a modern day city Tapas where uni students eat cheap pizza.

The is a far cry from the sleazy night-clubs, pubs with stained carpet, pokies rooms and meat raffles. This grandiose, high ceiling heritage building has the class of Audrey Heburn.

Even the free water is infused with lime and mint to add to the experience.Don't let the prestige or the list of 40 cocktails intimidate you. This is the perfect place to unwind with friends.

My only criticism of the is the drinks are a little overpriced so if you are on a budget perhaps hydrate on the free lime and mint infused water.

If you are like me and don't like paying over $10 for a drink make sure you cash in on the bargain $6 pizza. One bite of the wood-oven mushroom pizza and you will leave in a good mood.

Located on the corner of North Terrace and East Terrace, the is the ideal place to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail before stepping inside the Garden of Unearthly Delights this Fringe season.
