Boston Brewing Co Vic Park
Not really my side of town for dining but I passed this on the way to my friend who was treating me to a birthday pedicure and thought it looked lovely from the outside. After our treatments, my friend and I drove to Boston Brewing Co. and we apparently were given the last table available, which at 5.45 pm meant they were going to be flat out - a good sign in anyone's books.
I ordered a lovely red wine, which was described well on the menu, and tasted just as good. The descriptions helped the non-wine connoisseur such as myself choose well.

A nice red to go with my meal
I ordered the daily special - a chicken curry and rice. The waiter, who was also very friendly and attentive, assured me the curry was not hot. It was priced reasonably at $21 as I cannot eat much anyway, and I was more than happy with the size and taste for the price. The flavour of the sauce mirrored the care taken in the preparation. It was delightfully tasty.
My girlfriend just ordered fries, which again, we found to be delicious. At $11, they were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside - just as good fries should be.

Good Food at Boston Brewing Co
The place was packed out within 20 minutes of sitting down with more than a few tables booked with more than 6 people. I found the menu was a little small but from the food I could see coming to tables, it looked very inviting indeed. I noticed a menu on their website, which is handy.
I was also pleasantly surprised to be given a takeaway container for the remainder of my meal that I could not eat Another service that seems to have been removed from many a restaurant and cafe. So a big thumbs up to this savvy little place on Albany Highway - well done to you!
