If you love getting back to nature, spending time in the bush then Boshack Outback is the place for you. Located 90 minutes north east from Perth, near the town of Toodyay and Bolgart.
Boshack Outback is a farm stay set on 300 acres of land which includes a lake perfect for canoeing. Look for long neck turtles or try your hand at net fishing. The children love spending their time by the lake catching frogs and feeling the mud between their toes.
The tents are made from recycled material with two of them situated by the lake and the rest set back a bit further in the bush. The tents are spacious and can sleep 6 to10 people. There are beds and a light so all you need to bring is your personal items. No need to set up a tent when you arrive.
Enjoy your meals in the diner which gives you a view of the lake. The kitchen and dining facilities are shared. You have the option to cook for yourself or have someone do it for you.
Shower in the open air while looking up at the evening sky. There is nothing like a bit of star gazing while you have a shower.
While you are staying here, you can book a farm tour but it is more than just visiting a farm. Take a trailer ride around the farm and feed the animals, learn how to throw a boomerang, play the didgeridoo, try your hand at water divining, catching marron and sample damper.
Boshack Outback is a unique place surrounded by nature. The children will enjoy being in nature, climbing trees, building cubby houses in the bush and playing by the lake. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and spend plenty of time relaxing.
