A fete fundraiser Have fun & do good at the same time
Who doesn't love a school fete? It's especially great fossicking around all those secondhand books and pre-loved items. As they say, 'one man's trash is another man's treasure. If you happen to be crafty, you might just find a treasure trove of items to up-cycle.
A huge fete like this brings the community together. You can look forward to a Silent Auction and a Hamper Raffle with a chance to win a huge range of prizes. There'll be home made delights at the cake stall, a garden and craft stall and of course a wonderful trash and treasure.
The kids will also have lots of entertainment in the form of mini golf, pony rides, animal nursery, LEGO competition, major amusement rides, laser-tag for the adventurous, jumping castle, treasure hunt, sideshow alley, face painting, spray-on tattoos, plaster mould painting, sprint cars and the Bat-mobile.
Feeling peckish? No problem. Gourmet baked potatoes, corn on the cob, BBQ, a healthy fruit stand, cold drinks, Devonshire tea and scones, Dutch poffertjes (pancakes) and premium coffee will be at hand to satisfy those tummy rumbles.
There'll be live entertainment throughout the day on the main stage and performances will be by: -
school choral ensembles & rock band
K & C Performing Arts
Wingin It - local cover band
Grumpy Old Men - local cover band
Voice & Strings - local music school
Bring family, bring friends and get into the spirit of having a fun time at the fete. If you have a couple of hours to spare, they could use some volunteers, so give them a call on (03) 9762 3275. Check out the posters above and below for details about wrist bands and the LEGO comp.
