Displaying Uniquely Framed Jigsaw Puzzles

Step into the creative and serene world of jigsaw puzzles at 'The Purrfect Exhibition' this spring.

It’s no secret that jigsaw puzzles are an enjoyable mindful activity for all ages, which can help reduce stress and anxiety and even improve our mental health!

The Purrfect Exhibition is the fifth framed jigsaw puzzle exhibition Phil and Sarah have mounted in the beautiful Memorial Hall Gallery, an oval, public space owned by the City of Cockburn.



Held from 15th to 26th September from 10 am to 3 pm, this year's exhibition theme centres on the domestic cat. Through this exhibition, Phil and Sarah showcase how important these beloved animals are as artists’ subjects and also draw attention to the big cats such as lions and tigers who are suffering through the worst drought in Kenya in 40 years.

Phil and Sarah find a real joy in completing jigsaw puzzles as they bring an "order out of chaos." Once the jigsaw is complete, they glue the pieces back and frame them in a bespoke manner that enhances the picture. "The framing is quite unique in itself. We use a variety of different mediums including natural tree branches, denim, wool and other materials" said Phil.

Many jigsaw puzzles will be available for sale at the event.

COST: A Gold Coin Donation is appreciated to cover venue costs.
