A list of 40 Fun Things for Kids
Next time you hear the dreaded phrase "I'm bored" uttered by your children, don't panic as help is at hand. Campbelltown City Council has produced a great guide called "40 Fun Things For Kids in Campbelltown".
Campbelltown City Council's guide to beat the boredom
It is a list of ideas for getting kids out and about in the Campbelltown area. It includes places to go and fun things to do, covering a range of both indoor and outdoor activities. Some places are well known whereas others are more obscure and you may not have heard about them. While some of the activities do require an admission fee, it is good to see that over half of the items listed in the guide are free (which is great if you are trying to stick to a school holiday budget).
Examples of some of the local activities included are Mega Mini Golf, horse riding or go-karting.
Free activities include the fantastic Bicycle Education and Road Safety Centre which teaches kids about road safety on a circuit with traffic lights, roundabouts and stop signs. Other free activities include scavenger hunts and visiting the Koi fish at the beautiful Japanese Gardens.
