Lupus is an autoimmune disease that the event holder herself has been diagnosed with. As a participant for this years Pinup Doll Australia, a 1940s-1950s inspired competition, Goldie wanted to be able to bring awareness to this widely unknown and misunderstood condition. Given her love of being a pinup, the event name is Boop Out Lupus, with Betty Boop cartoon being the image mascot for the fundraiser event.
Dress code: Purple is the official colour of Lupus awarenes. So come dressed in your finest purple number. There will also be Bacelets, necklaces and earrings with lupus symbols, charms and colours available for purchase on the night for you to wear to show your support.
