Everyone knows Australia is burning and people and animals are hurting. That's putting it mildly as one cannot imagine the chaos and devastation that can rampage through a community that's suffering a whole lot of loss. Looking at the news and going tsk tsk is just not enough. Get on board not just with this event, but many other events around that are working at raising funds for bushfire relief. This is where the Australian spirit of generosity is needed. Even if you can't make it to this event, find other avenues to donate. Every single dollar counts to help our fellow man.
You are urged to make it to the Clayton Bowls Club, 37A Springs Rd, Clayton South on Sunday 19 January 2020 from 2.30pm to 5pm. Entry is by coloured note donation, so please dig deep for those going through unimaginable circumstances. As a fundraiser event, there'll be raffles running throughout the event. Prepare to be generous. In return you're in for an afternoon of live rock and roll with Boomers' Jukebox playing all of your favourite 50s, 60s and 70s rock 'n' roll music, and a little bit of country.
