Move, groove, and play at the Boom Festival for a day, as Old Perth Road comes to life with this movement based street festival. Witness aerial acts, sword fighting shows, circus skills, Hip Hop, Swing, contemporary and burlesque shows, Ninja and Martial Arts Demos, roving performers, workshops and so much more.

This free all ages community event is just a ten-minute drive from the city where families can enjoy a fun, safe and exciting atmosphere.



Free all age workshops will include:
• Circus skills
• Kite making
• Acting: Stage combat – fighting for stage and screen
• Dance: Contact, Swing, Bellydance, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Burlesque
• Cowboy lasso tricks
• Fitness: Zumba, Ninja and Martial Arts

The day's activities kick of at 8.30am with a free one hour ZUMBA class.

Performances: Circus Act, Kite making, stage combat, swing, bellydance, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Cowboy lasso tricks, Zumba, martial arts and the Urban Youth Crew.

The movement based street festival will take place at Bassendean's Town Centre in and around Old Perth Road, BIC Reserve (behind Bassendean Memorial Library) and surrounding venues on Sunday 27th November 2011.

BIC Reserve is a short stroll from the Bassendean train station or carpool is also recommended.
