The Bookshop Darwin is located beside Mbantua Art Gallery and a few doors down from the corner of the Smith Street Mall and the Esplanade. There is parking on the Esplanade or in the West Lane car park. It's an easy flat walk from the main Bus Shelter, near Brown's Mart.

The Bookshop is a Darwin gem. It has a range of books that specifically provide for the NT. There are specialised art books, children's books that describe Aboriginal lore and dreamings, books on adventure and travel, including 4WD guides and maps. As well as a range of contemporary current books for when you just want to read for leisure. They also have a good range of magazines like New Philosopher.

The staff are super friendly and always willing to help. They are able to do special orders and also arrange books for book clubs. Having been in here many times, I'm never disappointed with the friendliness of the service. It's got to be my favourite bookshop in Darwin.
