Add to your 'must read' stack at Books in Clover
Books in Clover sits snugly on the main street of historical Tea Tree Gully. Established by Lynda in 2015, this quality second-hand bookshop is the avid reader's paradise. You can find the location map here.
Every genre and popular author is covered – crime, thriller, fantasy, autobiography/biography, classics, literature…you'll find them all and in excellent condition. Lynda has a particular interest in Australiana and South Australian history. If you have unwanted collections of either, she would be happy to take them off your hands.
There's a great kid's section, holding many popular titles, even some that mums and dads would have read as children. If there's a certain title you're after, just ask as there are many more books in storage. If Lynda doesn't have it, she'll find it! Sourcing books considered hard-to-find or out of print is one of her passions.
Books in Clover specialise in sourcing rare and out-of-print titles.
New books are available to order for a small fee – usually 20% of the cost price, plus postage. There's also a small selection of second-hand DVDs for sale and gorgeous locally-made gifts such as candles and bird feeders. Lynda also has a Grow Free sharing cart for fresh produce. Take what you need, give what you can. Find out more on the Grow Free Facebook page.
Pick up a locally-made gift - quirky bird feeders.
After a bargain? There's always the '$5 each or 3 for $10' bookshelf just outside the door. Grab yourself a few titles for a cold winter's night or a hot, lazy day.
Books can sometimes be exchanged, depending on the titles on offer and if there's shelf space for them. Books in Clover holds two sales per year, in Spring and Autumn. Watch Weekend Notes for further information on dates.
