Booker Place Park is a great spot to visit and have fun with kids. It has concrete paths throughout, making it easy to navigate with a stroller or wheelchair or for riding skateboards, bikes or scooters. The toilets also have wheelchair access. There is a large, multi-level playground with slides, swings, a sandpit and a flying fox.

The flying fox is very popular.

There are also some great opportunities for water play, which would be fun during the hotter months. There is a water pump which can be used to create a small "creek" for splashing in and some sculptures which spray a fine mist when a button is pressed.

These standing stone things shoot out water at the touch of a button.

There is a barbeque and two covered areas with benches and several picnic tables as well as nice shady spots for a picnic blanket. The park is also a Brisbane City Council Wi-Fi hotspot.

Plenty of room to run around and play or relax and eat.

There is also a dog off leash area so you can bring your furry children as well. The playground is not fenced.

Booker Place is a great place for some free family fun on weekends or school holidays. It's pretty popular so if you're planning a birthday party or barbeque be sure to get there early.
