If you are like me, you read. You read all the time. You read everywhere. You have books in all the rooms of the house. Your bookcases are filled to the brim and book are in double rows. Moreover, you have not really taken up the e-reading.
I challenge you. I challenge you this year, of all years, give it a go.
Once upon a time, Borders used to sell E-kobo with pre-loaded books. I do not know if any of the e-readers still do it. But, there are plenty of applications around for e-reading that can be installed on your phones, iPads, tablets, etc. However, I do not think any of them are coming with books.
What am I getting at? The price, the cost, the money. Nowadays even e-books are quite pricey in Australia. So, we, being human, are always looking for cheaper and better options. What would you say if I offered you one?

BookBub offers you cheap or even free e-books every day. Sign up and you will get a list of new e-books every day in your inbox. It is completely up to you to buy one or many or to delete the list and forget about it.
Being a very choosy reader, even though I signed up, I kept deleting the list for days. Today, however, I did not. I went through the list and chose a few books to try (they come with sample chapters). To my surprise, I liked some of them enough to download and to invest, wait for it, $1 or $2.

They are light reading mostly. Some of them caramel romances and over-the-top supernatural mysteries. But they are very pleasant, light to read. They are good for a train ride, for a beach holiday or for waiting for your kid at sports practice.
Have a try. It's free.
