Save the Children is an international charity that helps children in need in all countries, including here in Australia.



For this sale, 70% of the funds raised will go to childrens' programmes here in Western Australia, in metropolitan suburbs like Armadale, and Gosnells, and in country areas like Dampier and Kununurra.

The remaining funds (30%) will go towards helping children for other programmes including Australia and overseas countries.

Save the Children will be holding a huge book sale in the Joondalup area. There will be thousands of books of all genres at this sale, and this is the first of their large books sales that they hold each year.



The good thing about Save the Children book sales throughout the year, is that they only have books of a very high quality and you can be assured there will be something for everyone at most of their book sales.

They will also be selling a range of DVD's, CD's, sheet music and LP's at this event.

So, mark it in your diary for [b]Saturday 8th April, 2017 from 9 am to 4 pm; and Sunday 9th April, 2017 from 9 am to 1 pm.[/b]

It will be held at the HBF Arena, Kennedy Drive, Joondalup.
