If you wish to curl up and read a book then 'The Bone Woman' by Clea Koff is for you. The author provides her readers with an insight into a world of murder and injustice that few people understand. The narrative is somber and heart wrenching as it describes the bloodshed that the local Rwandan, Bosnian and Croatian people experienced in the 1990s. Readers cannot help but be moved by the descriptive passages and the writer's determination to achieve justice for those people who cannot defend themselves. The dead bodies spoke of individuals who had lived in communities with family who survived the fear they had experienced.

The book is difficult to put down as it encourages people to read from cover to cover if they have time to do so. Readers will appreciate the powerful images that the work conveys with words. The facts are woven carefully into the fabric of the story as though the writer wished to educate people using language that they can understand. The story has much to tell anyone who is prepared to listen to it. The book is well worth reading if you wish to learn about a past that some people would rather forget.
