Pot Luck Dinner without the food but with books
The Rotary Club of Redland Sunrise is holding a Book Pack Sale on Saturday the 25th of July - a bit like a Bookfest but with an element of surprise.
In order to comply with health regulations, books will be available to purchase in pre-packaged packs which means it's a bit of old fashioned pot luck which titles will be included in each pack. Which adds to the fun really, doesn't it?
Besides, I'm desperately in need of new books to read having been restricted to digital reading whilst the local library was closed over recent months. If I've already read a book or two, or if any have an alien or dragon theme, there is always someone or somewhere you can pass them onto where they will be better appreciated.
Packs of Children's Books cost $10 Boxes of Adult's Fiction cost $20
The Rotary Club of Redland Sunrise is an organisation that strives to make a difference in the lives of our community, both local and international, whilst having fun at the same time.
The Book Pack sale commences at 7:30am and finishes at 11:30am at the Car Park of the Thornlands Dance Palais Hall at 87- 95 Cleveland - Redland Bay Road, Thornlands.
This is a cash-only event.
Not too many sleeps until the big day now. I'm excited - can you tell?
