You have just 5 hours to take advantage of Book Bazaar's overstocking dilemma and snatch some unique bargains on Friday, March 31 from 12:00noon to 5:00pm.

There is only so much space

More than 100,000 books are on display in this unique bookshop, refreshed each week with a donation of several thousand books by the State Library of Western Australia and private donations.

You can hardly see the floor for books, thus, the urgency to clear as much as possible to take the pressure of the warehouse, which is packed to the rafters. This is more than just a bookshop, but an experience with more choice than you can browse through in one visit. Please note that the Old/Collectables are excluded in this clearance, but check out their great prices, you will be surprised.

Just a taste

Profit from the vast selection of excellent quality, and unique books from Book Bazaar, something many bookshops bound by commercial considerations would find hard to cover. Not to mention DVD's, CD's, and massive savings on children/young adult books, and fiction. See in store for all the savings.

How often have you wished you could take home a stack of books from a bookshop, but it was just too expensive? Now is your chance; I doubt you would find another place displaying so many quality books with such a multitude of titles, so cheap.

Relax and enjoy

Held in air-conditioned comfort (dry in the wet and cool in the heat) with toilet and bathroom facilities available. There will be a sausage sizzle, and the café on site will be open until 3.00pm, where you can regain your strength in readiness for another round of browsing.

Ample FREE parking, with all facilities wheelchair friendly, ensures easy and hassle free access. No city street parking or meters to worry about, so feel free to browse as long as you like.

But be quick

Browse as long as you wish, but if you spot that treasure, seize it with both hands. There are no rain checks or sourcing an extra copy from the supplier, from this distinctive bookshop.

Help is at hand

Friendly volunteers who assist the Book Bazaar Supervisor, Elke Schaumann are available to guide you. With such a large collection of books it can get confusing, I find that someone to point the way is an absolute necessity. If you have thought of becoming a volunteer, drop an email to: [email protected] or call 9381 0193.

Banners point the way to Book Bazaar

Arriving at 10 Selby Street, Shenton Park, turn off into a little (privately owned, by Spine & Limb Foundation) road called Ellis Griffiths Avenue. The Industries&output=classic&dg=ntvb ParaQuad building is about 300m along Ellis Griffiths Avenue. Large banners placed out on Selby Street ensure even the casual driver will not miss the turn off.
