Have a ghooooooulish Halloween at Perth Zoo
Calling all you nocturnal creatures – Perth Zoo will host the wildest Halloween Party in Perth at Boo At The Zoo on Saturday, 28 October.
Halloween is growing in popularity in Australia, with an increasing number of venues celebrating this spooky event. Boo At The Zoo is an excellent opportunity for to dress up as a creepy zombie, blood-sucking vampire, cackling witch or their favourite cute and fluffy, non-spooky character – and there's even prizes for the best-dressed kids.

The event will take place between 5pm and 8pm, so bring a torch and trick or treat bag and follow the trail of goodies at the zoo.
Halloween is, of course, associated with the tradition of trick or treating, so naturally no Halloween event would be the same without a sugar rush, which the kids can get by exploring the sweet, sweet Candyland.
Bring your little monsters along for a boogie at the Monster Mash, or take a couple of scary pictures in the brand new photo boooooth (get it?)
Hear spooky storytelling, get a new face with scare-brush face-painting, take some giveaways and enjoy roving entertainment. Don't forget to take a ride of the super-scary scare-ousel!
Many of the animal enclosures will be open until 6:30pm so don't forget to say goodnight to the residents before they go to bed. Areas open late include Orangutan Boardwalk, the African Savannah, Nocturnal House, Tiger and Bear Road, the Australian Reptile Exhibit and the Walkabout Lawn, where you'll find Simmo, the Zoo's resident crocodile. Some areas will be closed earlier than usual.
The entry price to this spook-tacular event for adults and children aged 3 to 17 years is $15.50, while children aged two and under are free with a full paying adult. For more information and to book, see the website.
