Put the "zing into Spring" and head to Davenport Park on the 12th September for the .



Bring a picnic rug and enjoy a beautiful, relaxing day out in the glorious Bonogin Valley. With rides, market stalls and delicious yummy food, there is plenty of FREE interactive activities for all the family from Yoga in the Park to the super cool Reptile Show and GCCC Cat and Dog Show, all with great LIVE entertainment to chill out to.

A favourite event and one you will not want to miss, is the "Annual Gumboot Throwing Competition". A lot of laughs and a great opportunity to practice and perfect your cricket throwing technique for Summer. Winners will compete for a prize with the ultimate being the Golden Gumboot Trophy! Another event will be the Paper Plane Making and Throwing Competition. There will be a 'Grand Master' Championship for Plane Throwing at the end of the day.



So come on, unleash yourself out of Winter hibernation, grab those gumboots, perfect your paper plane making skills and let's celebrate Spring the country way.
