The second [b]Bonfire in the Pasture ** will be held on 6th October, 2018. At this event, it will be an evening of fun with live music around the large bonfire whilst in the paddock. You will be able to bring your own drinks and camp over if you wish!



And food will be available - woodfired vegan pizzas and smores are available for preorder. The event is for ages 13 years and over, due to safety reasons. Everyone attending will also be required to sign a waiver on the night.



It will be held at 5.30 pm at the Greener Pastures Sanctuary, 33 Wealand Road, Waroona. If you live around Perth, Waroona is not that far from Perth. You could drive home afterwards, however, you have several better options if you have been drinking, or just do not want to do this!



You can stay in nearby Mandurah, where there is heaps of accommodation, or you can take up the camping offer, as mentioned. There is also accommodation in Waroona, should you be drinking and not want to drive afterwards.

Last year, was such a fun night and the organisers of this event are looking forward to the same type of evening as last! This is a fundraising event and all funds raised on the night will go directly to feeding, housing and caring for the 160 rescued animals of Greener Pastures Sanctuary.

Out of respect for the animals living at this sanctuary, organisers have asked that you do not bring animal products onto the property.

Bonfire only: $45.00

In case you do not know what a s'more is - a s'more is a traditional nighttime campfire treat consisting of a fire-roasted marshmallow and a layer of chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of a cracker biscuit!



[b]About Greener Pastures Sanctuary[/b]
Greener Pastures is situated on 100 acres of countryside in Waroona, which is near Mandurah.

It is a family owned and run sanctuary for all animals who have been neglected, abandoned, mistreated, abused and rescued from slaughter. Here, the animals will be treated well and loved as much as any pet! Many will spend their days around the house, swimming in the mud, and they even celebrate birthdays here!



Over the past 5 years, they have brought in about 160 horses, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, alpacas, turkeys, foxes and pigs. All members of the family help with the care of these animals, and they have about 4 new animals each month. They are a registered charity, who need the help of animal lovers, fellow rescuers, and generous donors so that they can continue the work of saving these animals.

To further these fundraising efforts, they have a variety of fundraising events, such as the annual bonfire night, as well as regular Yoga in The Pasture, and High Tea events!
